This ticket holds a spot at the Fall Sports Coaches Expo to become a coach in Bocce. All coaches trainings must have 5 individuals register in order for the training to be conducted. If this does not have 5 people register email notifications will be sent. Dress to participate in Bocce.

Golf Coaching Training School
This ticket holds your spot at the Fall Sports Training School in the sport of Golf. This training must have 5 individuals register for it to be offered. If this sport does not make email notifications will be sent. Arrive dressed to participate in playing the games of golf and participating in drills and skills to obtain coaching skills.

Coaches Training Expo  please register for ONLY one sport!

Coaches Expo registration deadline is June 09, 2017..  Deadline dates allow us to process information and packets for all attendees.

 Special Olympics Texas - Area 4 will host a Coaches Training Expo on Saturday, June 10, 2017. There is no cost to become certified other than your time.  Sports Offered at this training will be:  Softball, Aquatics Bocce, Golf.  You may choose only ONE sport to become certified in.

Coaching Unified Sports Training is a online training that takes 90 minutes to complete and it is FREE  CLICK HERE

All coaches must be Class A volunteers which requires a completed volunteer A form and completion of the General Orientation/Protective Behavior Quiz.  All coaches and volunteer A must complete a Criminal Background Check CBC, there is a cost associated with this this CBC, you may do so by CLICKING HERE

You can complete the Concussion Training by CLICKING HERE

We look foward to having the opportunity to teach you how to work with the athletes of Special Olympics Texas.  Mark your calendars to attend this coaches training.

Training Start time:  8:30  a.m.  Concussion Training for those which have not take the training

Sports Specific Training 9:00 a.m. come ready to participate in the sport in which you wish to become certified in choose only ONE of the following:  Aquatics, Bocce, Flag Football, Golf, Softball and Powerlifting.

Powerlifting will be conducted at Kingwood Strength and Conditioning 3068 Northpark Dr, Kingwood, TX 77339

Lunch Noon to 12:30 p.m.

Instructional Session (mandatory) 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the MMSC

Ending Time:  4:00 p.m.

Training Location:  City of Houston Metropolitian Multi Service Center MMSC
