Faith & Finances Facilitator Certification Course

Limited to 16 Participants

Faith & Finances
training equips your church to help the materially poor in a way that leads to long-term change. By starting Faith & Finances, your church can walk alongside low-income people as they overcome financial obstacles and steward the gifts God has given them.

Created by the Chalmers Center, Faith & Finances facilitator training will equip you with the confidence and skills to:

  • Create a financial education ministry plan tailored to your community

  • Mobilize people in your church to build authentic, supportive relationships with people who are poor

  • Walk alongside low-income people as they make practical changes in their finances

  • Apply the principles of When HelpingHurts in your context

Cost

  • Through September 17th - $450

  • September 18th forward - $500

Registration fee is non-refundable and nontransferable once the online course begins on October 2, 2017.

Note: This training is for facilitators who will be leading the course themselves, not simply representatives from a particular ministry.

For certification as a Faith & Finances facilitator, you must:

  • Register and agree to the requirements in the Training Agreement

  • Complete 4-week online orientation that begins October 2 - 31, 2017

  • Attend the live training at First Baptist Church in Everett, WA on Nov 10 - 11, 2017 where you will network with other facilitators and:

    • Discuss best practices in adult education and the financial literacy climate for low-income people

    • Practice using the Faith & Finances Facilitator Guide
