Event Details

Please join us at the 2017 South Carolina Fatherhood & Male Achievement Conference on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Richland School District 2 Innovation Center (R2i2), located in The Village at Sandhill, 763 Fashion Dr, Columbia, SC 29223.

  • Who Should Attend:
    • All Fathers, Men, Boys (3rd -12th grades), and the community at-large!
  • Why is this conference important:
    • As you may know, nearly 40% of children in South Carolina are being raised without a father in the home. This impacts every member of the family and community, especially our Fathers, Men, and Boys!  Since our first conference in 2015, 1,181 Fathers, Men, and Boys have attended/been empowered at this conference. Attendees have come from throughout SC and 13 other states including NC, GA, CA, MD, DC, NY, and NJ. We target both Fathers and Boys (grades 7th – 12th) to ensure that our efforts impact multiple generations.
  • The purpose(s) of our 1-day conference are to:
    1. Equip fathers with resources that will strengthen their fathering, work, relationship, and financial management skills.
    2. Teach 3rd - 12th grade boys life skills (self-care, financial literacy, health & nutrition, conflict management, etc.) to ensure they are safe, self-sufficient, and successful.

We Look Forward to Inspiring Many in 2017!
