LET'S GO TO THE FAIRE!
The Salt Lake City Mini Maker Faire brings together science, art, technology, robotics, craft, tinkering, design, building, DIY solutions and lots of other making activities into one fun-filled event for people of all ages. The family-friendly festival takes place on April 15, 2017, at the Utah State Fairpark from noon-6 pm.
Where do I park?
The Fairpark will have onsite parking for $5 for all day.
What about ADA accommodations?
The site is accessible.
Will you have bike parking?
Is public transportation available?
Trax or the bus will get you there. There is a Trax stop near the fairpark. Check out www.rideuta.com to plan your trip.
Can I volunteer at the Mini Maker Faire?
Please do! We need lots of enthusiastic help. Sign up at slcmakerfaire.com/volunteers.
How do I apply to exhibit or present as a maker?
Submit your application through our Call for Makers before March 31. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, so apply early! slcmakerfaire.com/call-for-makers
What if it rains...or snows?
Most activities are indoors or are in covered areas. So far, the weather looks good! :)
What can I expect?
A fun day of hands-on activities, making, and DIY projects. Prepare to be inspired and motivated to start your next project.
