We are excited to announce our inaugural OpenSesame user conference in Portland, Oregon this year. At this two-day conference, you will learn about new courses and product enhancements, receive product training, hear from other companies like yours about how they are using OpenSesame, attend round table discussions, and more, while enjoying the popular destination city of Portland, Oregon.

Will presentations be available after the user conference?

Yes, presentations will be available to you after the conference is over.

Is there a mobile app available for the event?

No, there will not be a mobile app this first year.

Do I need to check in when I arrive in Portland?

Yes, check into the hotel and you will receive your badge and information when you arrive on Tuesday, 26 September. If you are not staying at the hotel, you can pick up your badge and information at the OpenSesame information desk in the hotel all day Wednesday, September 27 and Thursday, September 28.

Do you recommend any hotels in the area?

The user conference will be held at the Hi-Lo hotel at 320 SW Stark St, Portland, Oregon 97204. We have secured a room block at the Hi-Lo hotel for user conference attendees. Book your room at the Hi-Lo hotel, a member of the Marriott Autograph Collection, to receive the discounted rate.

MEALS

Are meals included in my registration fee?

Your registration includes the following meals: breakfast and lunch on both Wednesday, September 27 and Thursday, September 28 as well as dinner on Wednesday, September 27.

REGISTRATION

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you do not need to bring your printed ticket to the event. We will be able to check you in on-site.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, visit the user conference registration site, log in, and change your information online.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

You may transfer your registration to a colleague at your company. Please be sure to change the registration informaton online by logging into the registration site.

Do I need to require for register for sessions?

Yes, we will open session registration in July and highly recommend you register for the sessions you would like to attend. We will use registration information to ensure there is enough seating in each session.

What is the refund policy?

Once you register for the user conference, we cannot offer a refund but you can transfer your registration to another person. Visit the registration site and log in to change your registration information.

TRANSPORTATION

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Our user conference is being held in downtown Portland, a easy walkable city. Less than 2 blocks from the convenient Orange and Green MAX light rail lines, you can travel throughout the city and to/from Portland International Airport. Ride shares such as Uber and Lyft operate in Portland in addition to taxicabs.
