2017 Oakland Youth Careers Expo
The annual Oakland Youth Careers Expo is Oakland’s premier career-education event. In 2016, we welcomed more than 1,000 students from 16 high schools, as well as 100+ exhibitors representing the state's leading employers.
The Expo displays the Bay Area's amazing diversity of career opportunities, as well as the skills and education needed for those jobs.
The Expo's goals are to connect employers to their future workforce and help students make informed, inspired decisions about continuing their education after high school -- whether they choose a four-year university, community college or apprenticeship training center.

My business/organization is unable to attend the Expo, is there another way that I can support this event?
There are many ways for you to be involved without being an exhibitor. Help our students get to the event by donating a bus; become a sponsor or volunteer your time during our Mock Interview Month in March and help students prepare for the Expo.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Your registration fee includes 1 parking pass in the parking garage attached to the Marriott Civic Center. Additional parking passes may be purchased in advance for $25 when you register. You may also purchase additional passes the day of the event for $35.
What can I bring into the event?
The Expo is a high-energy and high-volume event, with 1,000+ high school students in attendance. For exhibitors, that means preparation is essential. Your booth should be eye-catching and engaging; students love to be able to do activities, try out equipment and touch the products your company makes.
Bulk areas on the exhibit hall floor allow exhibitors to do hands-on demonstrations. Exhibitors can also do demonstrations and hands-on activities in their booths, such as welding, robotics, health-care simulations, fun competitions, etc.

What's the refund policy?
**Refund Policy: Cancellations received before March 1, 2017 will be refunded in full. Cancellations after this date will be refunded at 50%. All cancellations must be in writing via email, mail, or fax.
