8:45 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. Quick Connections Round I
Through a series of short conversations, participants identify new potential local, state, and federal collaborations to improve environmental protections and protect public health. In addition to networking, participants also share what makes them passionate about children’s environmental health.

9:45 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Break

10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Progress Review (Part I)
The Children’s Centers present updates, recent successes, robust science and scientific analysis aimed at protecting the health of children. Small group discussions with PEHSUs, EPA, and NIEHS will follow presentations. These discussions focus on common research interests and identify potential areas for collaboration.

8:40 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Lightning Talks
The Children’s Centers and the PEHSUs present tools and communication approaches created in collaboration with their communities. These tools and approaches allow the sharing of practical information about the science that links the environment to protecting human health, and empower the community to participate in and engage in research.The objective is to share these tools and approaches with each other, and with local, state, and federal partners.

12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Lunch (on your own)

1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Increase Impact in Communities and States
This session allows the Centers and PEHSUs to form a cohesive message to better communicate children’s environmental health science to serve the public, protect children, and improve public health.

3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Break

3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Keynote
The goal of the keynote session is to reflect on where Centers’ research has been used in improving children’s environmental health. Presentations to include real-life examples of successes at the community, state, and regional levels.

5:00 p.m. Closing Remarks and Adjourn
