Our event has been moved to August 3 2017 (after the Department of Insurance releases health insurance rates in mid July) and to work with the speakers schedules and travel to Summit County.  Thank you for understanding.

  • We'll discuss the choices in the SHOP program for those businesses with 2 to 100 employees, which includes Connect for Health Colorado’s SHOP plans, the electronic enrollment of multi-carrier plans and the one-bill/multiple-carrier payment ease along with the commitment of the insurance carriers that will be participating in 2018
  • SHOP Tax Credit available for small business under 25 employees who have workers with low wages, including many low revenue startups, which is only available on Connect for Health Colorado.

  • The two path's for small group insurance market going forward: "Underwritten and fully insured" and what is driving the changes in the market regardless of what legislation is passed along with Aetna's path going forward nationally. 
  • Aetna's newest product that will reduce your premiums by 20-40% compared with the community rated/ACA small group market and qualify for cash back at the end of a plan year for qualified healthy groups of five or more enrolled employees. Yes, we said CASH BACK! 

 

Stacey Gilbert will complete the benefits portion of the seminar with some additional solutions: 

 

  • Small businesses with a mature demographic ages 40-64 can save 15-30% over their current individual and small group premiums with alternatives.
  • A group insurance program with DENVER rates for mountain groups of 5 or more healthy employees that can save the average mountain group thousands of dollars annually.

Open enrollment is OPEN year round for groups with 2 or more employees.  We will not be discussing enrollment in PEAK/Medicaid or individual coverage at this event.   

Important Note to Salespeople: This event is intended for small businesses with two or more eligible employees (not covered by spouses coverage) and area CPA's/bookkeepers.  It's not a networking event to find clients. If you are a sales rep (insurance/financial services, MLM, etc) please do not sign up as we have limited space for the small businesses and our partner providers interested in learning how to help their employees and clients
