Encounter. Grow. Witness: A Plan to Unleash the Gospel

On the heels of Synod '16, this year's young adult conference will tackle the
evangelization initiative to Unleash the Gospel. Participants will learn essential elements of Encountering Jesus Anew, Growing Daily as His Disciples, and Witnessing to the Power of the Gospel.

Keynote Speakers:

Peter Herbeck is the vice president and director of
missions for Renewal Ministries. He has been actively
involved in evangelization and Catholic renewal throughout
the US, Canada, Africa, and Eastern Europe for more
than thirty years. Peter is a co-host for the weekly EWTN
television programs The Choices We Face and Crossing the
Goal. He also hosts the daily radio show Fire on the Earth.
He is a frequent conference speaker, has authored When the
Spirit Comes in Power and When the Spirit Speaks, and has
produced CDs and booklets about discipleship and life in the Spirit. Peter and
his wife Debbie have four children and live in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Mary Wilkerson has worked within the Archdiocese of
Detroit for eleven years, ministering to youth and young
adults. Mary’s passions include social media, pastorally
responding to the question of homosexuality, young women’s
ministry and awakening a love for Scripture. Mary’s
greatest accomplishment however is her family: based in
Redford Township, she is a wife to Aaron and a mother to
her three boys, a baby girl, and one child on the way.
