2017 Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service - Alameda Shoreline Cleanup

Join the us at The Point for a morning of volunteer service as we cleanup Alameda's shorelines. The cleanup, produced in conjunction with the City of Alameda's Public Works department, will take place from 9AM - 12PM. We will be focusing on the Main St. parking lot west of the ferry terminal and dog park.
Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and bring your own reusable bucket or bag and work gloves. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Community service credit is available upon request.

Can my child participate?
Yes! Kids under age 18 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Will I need to sign a liability waiver?
Yes, each individual including those under 18 will need to sign a waiver which can be downloaded here.
What should I bring?
Volunteers are encouraged to bring a reusable bucket to collect trash, work gloves, closed toe shoes, drinking water, and sunscreen.
