WHAT IS THE MARCH FOR LIFE?
Each year, people travel to our nation’s capital to show their support for LIFE—from conception to natural death. On the anniversary of the day on which abortion was legalized in America, these pro-lifers come together for prayer and silent protest. 9th-12th grade students from Portsmouth are invited to come on this retreat to DEFEND LIFE.
Thursday, January 26th: Meet at St. Mary Parish at 7:30am. Arrive in Washington, D.C. Life is Very Good Night of Prayer at George Mason University.
Friday, January 27th: Life is Very Good Rally. March for Life. Return to Portsmouth around 11:30pm. Students will call with exact pick up time.
9th-12th grade students from Portsmouth are celebrating Life together! We will be traveling by bus to, in, and around DC. Once we've arrived, we will stay in a hotel near Washington, D.C., attend a concert, night of prayer, rally and Mass at George Mason University, and participate in the March for Life!
Your registration fee of $60 includes travel, hotel lodging, all meals (minus 2 meal stops on the route to and from D.C.; please bring money for these meals), and all program costs. Contact Megan Baum about scholarship opportunities.
