The Human Rights Campaign hosts its 16th Annual Major Donor Leadership Summit April 6 – 9, 2017 at the HRC headquarters in Washington, D.C. As a benefit of being an HRC Federal Club Council and/or Equality Circle member, you are invited to join us in the nation’s capital for an informative and memorable extended weekend of briefings and updates from senior HRC staff, prominent politicians and journalists, and key leaders in the movement, as well as a healthy dose of fun, HRC style!
Previous presenters or speakers have included US Senator Tim Kaine, H.E. Anne Anderson, Ambassador of Ireland to the U.S, political analyst and former political director of ABC News Amy Walter, communications consultant and pundit Hilary Rosen, and Washington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart. Activities have included specially-organized tours of the White House, exhibitions, screenings, concerts, performances, and private receptions. Our Friday and Saturday evening dinners are among the highlights of the weekend’s events. Recent venues include a special reception at the home of the Irish Ambassador’s residence before dinner at the picturesque Meridian International Center , and the ever-popular Penthouse Ballroom of the W Washington D.C. Hotel—one of the most beautiful rooftops in the city that looks over the White House and U.S. Treasury Building. You won’t want to miss our offerings this year.
We hope that you plan to arrive in time for the Welcome/Opening Reception scheduled for Thursday evening (April 6). Additionally, the Summit will conclude with a casual, farewell brunch on Sunday, April 9. The brunch format is a stop-by at your leisure between 10:00am — 12pm to accommodate the varied outbound travel schedules of Summit attendees, and no official program or speaker is planned. More details to come about programming.
