Luncheon Details:

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Safety (BOTS) cordially invites you to the Annual Law Enforcement Luncheon recognizing agencies that have participated in traffic safety initiatives in the past year through various BOTS programs. The luncheon will begin with a welcome from BOTS Director David Pabst and BOTS Section Chief Randy Romanski who will present an update on the current state of traffic safety in Wisconsin. Those that attend this event will be eligible for traffic safety equipment items which will be awarded for future fundable activity at the conclusion of the event. Each agency may send up to 2 representatives to attendees the Luncheon.

This years Featured speaker is the honorable Phyllis McMillen, NHTSA Region 5 Judicial Outreach Liaison


Phyllis McMillen is a Judge of the State of Michigan 6th Circuit Court. Prior to serving on the Circuit Court, she was a Judge of the 51stDistrict Court in Waterford, Michigan. She is the past President of the Michigan District Judges Association and the Oakland County District Judges Association. In 2005, she received a Special Recognition Award from the Executive Office of the President, Office of National Drug Control Policy for her pioneering work in the creation of Sobriety Court as an alternative for handling drug and alcohol related offenses. She is a lecturer, contributing author and faculty member for various state and national organizations including the National Drug Court Institute, the American Bar Association and the Michigan Institute for Continuing Legal Education. Judge McMillen serves on various executive and advisory boards, including the Michigan Association of Drug Court Professionals, the Oakland County Community Corrections Advisory Board and is the Regional Judicial Outreach Liaison for Region 5 of NHTSA. She was formerly a partner of the law firm Schmidt, Isgrigg & McMillen.

Where can I park?

The city of Appleton Red (Radisson) and Green (P.A.C) parking garages are now pay-as-you-exit and accept cash, credit cards, permits and validated hotel cards. Rates are just $1 for less than 2 hours, $2 for 2-3 hours, $3 for 3-4 hours and $5 for over 4 hours.
