• Women Writers From The North of Ireland, with Sinead Gleeson

• "Daughter of a Garbageman," Maureen Langan's One-Woman Show

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7

• Irish in "Lost Gatos" - morning walking history tour exploring the legends of the historic town.

• Writing workshops - Travel Writing, Public Speaking, Getting Published.

• Evelyn Conlon reads from Not the Same Sky about orphaned Irish girls shipped to Australia in the 1800s.

• Eanlai Cronin, "whose Irish catholic background was doused in the trifecta of lies, denial and silence" reads from upcoming memoir.

• Norm Matteoni, Prairie Man: Sitting Bull and Indian Agent McLaughlin, in conversation with Myles Dungan

• Daring Poetry: Belfast poets Stephen Sexton and Stephen Connolly join Kathy D'Arcy, Simon Lewis, Caroline Bracken. Moderated by Raina Leon.

• A tribute to The New Yorker's Long-Winded Lady, and forgotten Irish writer Maeve Brennan.

• Tim Fanning on his work, Paisanos: The Forgotten Irish who Changed the Face of Latin America
