2017 Inclusive Church Conference

“Starting Your Non-profit and Getting Funding"

Purpose

The Inclusive Church Conference brings together pastors, seminarians, church leaders and new church starts to galvanize resources, information and best practices to aid in creating support and longevity for inclusive churches. This year’s focus, “Starting Your Non-profit and Getting Funding,” is particularly relevant to many churches especially New Start churches in reaching sustainability. Participants will leave the conference with all the paperwork necessary to create a 501(c)(3) corporation for their church. Participants will also leave with access to a grant-writer who will be available to assist them with applying for various sources of funding.  Attending this conference will equip churches and church leaders to expand their community ministries far beyond what they could do without the tools being offered. This year's conference is sponsored by the United Church of Christ Local Church Ministries,  Central Atlantic Conference - UCC, First Congregational Church - UCC, Gilead, The Human Rights Campaign, and The Community Church of Washington, DC-UCC.
