Event description

Description

The IEA Summer Institute is one of the best professional development conferences for public school educators and support staff offered in the state of Idaho!

This conference, conducted annually by the Idaho Education Association, offers the most advanced, cutting-edge courses taught by leading education experts: Idaho classroom teachers and support staff!

Check out a listing of all the Summer Institute courses.

Registration and dorm check-in for the Pre-sessions are the evening of Tuesday, July 25. The Summer Institute Pre-Sessions begin with breakfast, Wednesday, July 26th at 7:45am.

The main session of the Summer Institute begins with registration, room check-in and a fun social beginning at 4pm, Thursday, July 27. Along with appetizers and music, there will be vendor tables and a photobooth. Bring your items to donate to the silent auction benefiting the IEA Political Action Committee.

It pays to be an IEA member! IEA members attend for FREE including breakfast and lunch each day of the Institute, an air conditioned dorm room, and carpooling reimbursment at 25 cents per mile. With a $25 deposit (refunded shortly after the Institute), IEA members secure their spots in the IEA Summer Institute.

Non-IEA members may attend the main Institute Session Friday and Saturday, July 28 & 29 by paying a (non-refundable) registration fee of $500. Non-members are responsible for their own hotel costs and arrangements but are provided breakfast and lunch on both Friday and Saturday.

Credits are available for purchase for both the Pre-Session and the Main Summer Institute Sessions.

Don't miss this amazing opportunity!
