Event Details

The FBI Citizens Academy Foundation invites you and a guest to our 2017 Honoring Hometown Heroes event.

The event will be held at The Music Box Supper Club on Friday, October 20, 2017.  It will begin with a networking reception at 5:30pm, dinner at 6:30pm, followed by the national speaker presentation, the Joe Russ Scholarship award and the Hometown Hero awards.

Celebrate with us as we honor the 2017 FBICAF Hometown Heroes in the following categories:
Community Leader - LaJean Ray, Director of Fatima Family Center, Catholic Charities Corporation

Safety Forces - Patrolman Scott Seabolt and Brody Fratantonio, Norton Police Department

Unsung Hero - Bryan Bowman, Veterans Outreach and Constituent Services Representative for Congressman Jim Renacci and President and Founder of Serving Area Military Center

Citizen - Earl Owens, Rumpke Refuse Collector

Our Keynote Speaker will be Retired Colonel Dan Stebbins:  Colonel Stebbins was the on-scene commander for the Connecticut State Police, during the investigation into the tragic event that occurred at the Sandy Hook Elementary School, Newtown, CT.

Tickets cost $85 each and includes hors d'oeuvres, dinner, valet parking and exciting auction items.  Please indicate your dinner selection for each attendee.  Also, it is very important that individual guest names are provided so proper nametags can be professionally printed.

This year the menu consists of three options:

  • Braised Short Ribs - with port wine reduction sauce and served with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley (gluten free)
  • Grilled Salmon with Sherry Dill Cream - served with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley (gluten free)
  • Grilled Seasonal Vegetable Stack with Brown Risotto - vegan selection

This event is the only fundraiser the FBI Citizens Academy hosts.  All proceeds benefit the FBI Citizens Academy Foundation - a 501c3 organization.
