2017 Honda Battle of the Bands HBCU Recruitment Fair
HBCU RECRUITMENT FAIR ENTRY FORM
Returning this year, as a part of the 15th Annual Honda Battle of the Bands Invitational Showcase, is the Historically Black College & University Recruitment Fair. This Fair is designed to expose potential students and their parents to the recruitment and admissions processes of HBCU institutions that offer marching band programs.
All HBCU institutions are invited to participate. The recruitment fair will emphasize and stress opportunities that exist at HBCUs as well as admissions requirements, marching band scholarship requirements, marching band program requirements and financial aid opportunities.
In 2016, representatives for over 30 HBCUs were on hand to speak with over 6,000 thousand prospective students and family members.
The recruitment fair will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center in the Georgia Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2017.
This event is open to the public and admission is free.
The cost for a booth to participate in the recruitment fair is $145.00 per school and includes:
- 10' x 10' draped space
- One 6' skirted table
- Two chairs
- One waste bin
- Cardboard black and white school name signage
- Two tickets to the Battle of the Bands Invitational Showcase
- One parking pass
- Light contintental breakfast/coffee break
Power is available for an additional cost of $90.00.
Set-up begins at 8:30 a.m. on event day only, January 28, 2017. All items must be broken down and removed from event space at culmination of the event by 4 p.m.
The deadline for returning this Recruitment Fair entry form and payment is January 9, 2017.
Payment must be received in full with entry form to participate.
