The San Antonio Area Foundation invites you to hear about our High School Completion grantmaking process for 2017. Through the High School Completion initiative, we make grants to nonprofit organizations serving 3rd through 9th grade students in out-of-school time programs in Bexar County. The purpose of this program is to raise the overall rate of high school completion in Bexar County through programs that improve attendance, behavior and academic performance in school. Over the past six years, the Area Foundation has awarded a total of $2,807,316 in grants to 34 different nonprofit agencies.

We will have the grant application available on our website on Monday, February 6, 2017 and the deadline for proposals will be Friday, March 10, 2017.

The Area Foundation will hold two meetings with the community to share information and funding guidelines for the grantmaking process. The meetings will be held at the San Antonio Area Foundation offices at 303 Pearl Parkway, San Antonio, TX 78215. The dates and times are:

  • Tuesday, February 7th - 9:00 – 11:00 am.
  • Wednesday, February 8th - 1:00 – 3:00 pm.

When you register, be sure to provide the name of your organization, the name of those attending and the meeting date you will attend.
