Description

2017 Governor's Marketplace Conference

This registration page is for State of Oregon agencies ONLY

We encourage all state agencies with contracting opportunities for small business to exhibit at this event.

The Governor’s Office and the State of Oregon have made it a priority to create equity in contracting and procurement. We are excited to announce the Governor’s Marketplace will take place on March 23, 2017.

The Governor’s Marketplace brings together industry professionals, public and private organizations, diversity practitioners and small businesses to build valuable relationships. Small businesses will learn about opportunities and local resources available.

The Governor’s Marketplace activities will include:

  • Continental breakfast and networking
  • Training for startup, established and growing businesses
  • Workshop for diversity practitioners and agency buyers
  • Luncheon and keynote speaker
  • Reverse vendor exhibitor fair

The reverse vendor exhibitor fair will provide state agencies with the opportunity to showcase contracting opportunities with small businesses throughout Oregon. You will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with local entrepreneurs who are interested in learning how to do business with the state and where to find opportunities within your organization.

Schedule

NEW "STEP IT UP" Workshop for Diversity Practitioners, State Agency Buyers/Procurement Officers and/or those with contract decision making responsibilities. As contracting decisions makers, with the ability to influence change in business practice for the purpose of supporting Oregon's small business, it's important to engage with small businesses, work collaboritvely and break down barriers inhibiting equity in contracting. Please register for this valuable workshop, Step it Up. (Link on registration page with further detail).
