Former White House Chef Dishes Up Insights on Food Security, Health, and Youth
In conjunction with the University of Chicago’s 2017 Zero-Waste Earth Fest activities, the Frizzell Speaker and Learning Series will be hosting Sam Kass for a conversation on food security, health, and youth. Mr. Kass (AB '04), a food entrepreneur, and former White House Chef and Senior Nutrition Policy Advisor to President Obama, will be interviewed by Monica Eng from WBEZ Chicago, a fourth generation Chicagoan with interests in food, health, and ethnic culture in Chicago and beyond. This event is cosponsored by the Institute of Politics, Program on the Global Environment, and the College at the University of Chicago.
