Fishing for Life invites you to participate in a Firearms Safety class.
Location: MN State Fairgrounds, Warner Coliseum (during MN Outdoor News Deer & Turkey Expo)
Times: Friday 3/10 (6-9 pm), Saturday 3/11 (9 am - 4 pm), Sunday 3/12 (12-3 pm)
Note: Sunday is "Range Day" - location for this part of the class is To Be Determined and you will only be able to participate if you pass the written test on Saturday. In the rare event you do not pass the written test and are not invited to Range Day, $25 of your fee will be refunded.
Please bring a notebook and pencil to class both days.
Also, please print a copy of the waiver and have it signed by a parent/guardian. Bring it to the first night of class. All other materials will be provided, including lunch on Saturday. Those who pass the written test will need to pay an additional $7.50 online fee to the Minnesota DNR to obtain their Firearm Safety Card. Instructions will be provided at class.
DO NOT bring firearms or ammunition to class or Range Day!!! Hearing and eye protection will be provided for Range Day, but you may bring your own eye and ear protection if you'd like.
