The Washington DC Chapter of the FAMU National Alumni Association, Inc. will be holding the 2017 FAMU Freshmen Sendoff on Saturday August 5, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the SKC Early Learning Center, 5664 Silver Hill Rd, District Heights, MD. Friends, family, current FAMU students, FAMU alumni, and especially the new incoming FAMU Class of 2021 are invited to attend.

The Sendoff is designed for all incoming freshmen and their parents/guardian to meet other FAMU students and parents from the Maryland, Washington, DC and Virginia area. Make friends before you get to Tallahassee. Hear from currently enrolled students (DC METRO Club members) and alumni as they discuss their experiences on campus and share valuable advice on classes, who to know, where to go, and what to do/not do during your years on “The Hill.”
