Event Details

On September 10, 2017, Streets Alive will take place on a mile of Main Street, from Chicago Avenue to Crown Park. The street will be open for walking, biking, playing, art and community. For this one day Main Street becomes a mile-long public park for all to enjoy. We promote public health, arts and culture, local pride, and environmental awareness.

The Evanston Environmental Association is excited to again present the Green Living Festival as a featured part of Streets Alive. The green fest gives local businesses and organizations the opportunity to present their green products, services and ideas to attendees and inspire them to live a healthier, greener life.

Streets Alive draws thousands of people while thousands more learn about the event through local media coverage. Evanstonians love Streets Alive and the Green Living Festival, and they will love you for supporting this fun, free, community-driven project. Check out some of our awesome sponsorship benefits

IMPORTANT: Streets Alive and the Evanston Green Living Festival will take place rain or shine. No sponsorship refunds available after event promotion begins. Green Living Festival fees are refundable through August 26, 2017.

Streets Alive is seeking like-minded organizations to participate as exhibitors, activity leaders and food vendors based on the criteria listed below.  The City has the right to decline any organization that is deemed an unsuitable fit for the event.

  • Evanston-based organizations will have preferential consideration.
  • The event is seeking organizations that provide services and/or products that are aligned with the missions of Streets Alive and the Green Living Festival.
  • In order to provide a wide range of experiences for participants, only two organizations per area of business or non-profit focus will be allowed to participate.  If more than two such organizations register, availability will be determined on a first come, first serve basis.
