Description

The Second Annual Emory Percussion Symposium is a day-long seminar and evening concert featuring a world-class line-up of guest artists and clinicians who will perform and teach on a wide variety of musical instruments and styles. SCOTT POLLARD and MARK YANCICH of Emory University will be joined by DR. JOHN PARKS (Florida State), JONATHAN OVALLE (Michigan), MARC DINITZ (US Air Force Concert Band), and KEITH ALEO (Interlochen/Zildjian).

All registered attendees receive a symposium t-shirt, lunch, and admission to the exhibit hall featuring some of the world's leading percussion manufacuturers and music publishers. Furthermore, registration guarantees raffle entry (including drawings for a free Majestic concert snare drum, Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks and mallets, and framed posters signed by the artists).

All classes, performances, and exhibits take place at the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts on the Emory campus in Atlanta, GA. Event is open to all percussionists, educators, and enthusiasts.
