LYNKED IN is a free annual, one-day, educational conference for individuals with Lynch Syndrome, their families, and caregivers, hosted by Dana-Farber’s Center for Cancer Genetics and Prevention. The inaugural conference was held at DFCI on June 11, 2016.
This program provides attendees with updates on guidelines for screening and prevention, strategies for communicating with your family, and advances in the treatment of Lynch syndrome. This year’s Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Rick Boland, Chief of Gastroenterology at Baylor Medical Center.

Dr. Nekhlyudov will discuss follow-up after cancer, including monitoring for recurrences and other cancers, possible complications of treatment, staying healthy, and working with your health care providers.
Diane Bryant, MS, RN
Certified Wound, Ostomy Continence (CWOC) Clinical Nurse Specialist, Brigham and Women’s Hospital
Diane will share information about ostomy procedures and recovery, as well as various support groups and resources available for these patients.

Dr. Lim, Dr. Nissim, and Bis will give an overview of GI screening procedures, including upper endoscopies (EGD) and colonoscopies, and answer questions like why are these procedures performed, what are common experiences and tips for diet and bowel prep, what happens on the day of, and others you may have.

Ann Marie will lead a tailored floor-yoga exercise class with basic poses and stretches that you can do at home as well. Capacity limited to 13. Please plan to bring you own yoga mat (or towel).
