The County of Summit Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADM) Board will hold its annual Appreciation Luncheon on Thursday, September 28th, 2017, at the Hilton Akron / Fairlawn on West Market Street.

This annual Appreciation Luncheon affords the Board an opportunity to share highlights from the prior year, as well as recognize those that have made significant contributions in the mental health and addiction fields. 

This year's menu selection includes:

  • Vegetable Cavatappi: Cavatappi pasta topped with fresh vegetables, spinach, kalamata olives, olive oil, garlic basil, and feta
  • Yankee Pot Roast: Tender roast beef, slowly cooked and served with fresh vegetables
  • Nuts & Berries Salad with Grilled Chicken: Grilled chicken with mixed greens, fresh berries, caramelized pecans, feta, and raspberry vinaigrette

Please contact Lucky Tisch (tischl@admboard.org) by Monday, September 25th with any special dietary restrictions, or for any questions concerning the luncheon. 

Registration for the luncheon is $30 per attendee; $240 per table.

Registration will remain open until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 22nd.

County of Summit ADM Board

The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADM) Board contracts with a network of health care agencies that provide treatment and rehabilitation support services for people recovering from alcoholism, drug addiction and mental illness.  The ADM Board also collaborates with communities in Summit County to provide educational activities aimed at preventing mental illness and addictions. 

With leadership provided by a local board of directors, the ADM Board evaluates needs, plans services to respond to those needs and evaluates their impact.  Through the support of a local property tax levy, the ADM Board provides opportunities for recovery and hope for a better life.

Alcoholism, drug addiction and mental illness are real medical conditions that can affect anyone.  Effective treatments are available for these illnesses and people recover.
