Confronting the Stigma of Addiction: A Community Response

Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island invites you to our annual community meeting, addressing a serious topic affecting our state and the nation.

Join us as we screen the exclusive Rhode Island premiere of Overdose: Inside the Epidemic – A Second Opinion Special. This special is the fourth episode in a four-part series of addiction programs produced by the Emmy Award-nominated public television series, Second Opinion.

Following the film, a panel of local experts will suggest actions we can all take to help reduce the stigma associated with addiction, so that we can better address the overdose epidemic.

We all have a role to play in Rhode Island’s overdose epidemic. Please join us to help educate, inform, and build greater awareness about this growing public health crisis.
