Event description

Description

WHAT: A FREE two-day training for African-American community members discussing adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), historical trauma, facilitation techniques, and more! Participants who complete two community conversations of their own will receive a $150 stipend.

WHY: Early experiences of babies shape their ability to build relationships, learn, navigate the world around them, even into adulthood. Understanding the effects of trauma, toxic stress and ACEs can help us support healthy development and resilient communities.

WHEN: December 1st and 2nd from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Details provided upon completion of registration. Both days are required to complete this training.
