2017 CITEA Annual State Conference
Fri, Mar 31, 2017, 8:00 AM – Sat, Apr 1, 2017, 5:00 PM PDT
The CITEA conference is focused on helping technology educators with curriculum, connections, and camaraderie.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
If you teach machining, welding, graphics, CAD, carpentry, automotive technology, wood technology, or engineering in a California K-12 system or community college this is the conference you should attend.
We are making a special effort this year to welcome high school teachers involved with engineering programs. We will have sessions to help those teachers integrate hands-on activities into their curriculum and learn what others are doing in the field. This is an excellent opportunity for these (and all teachers) to meet colleagues throughout the state who teach in their discipline.
- Networking with colleagues throughout the state!
- Curriculum Ideas & Demonstrations
- Hands-on Demonstrations
- Technical Sessions
Come get something you can use in class on Monday.
- There will be 2 units available through San Jose State University
Conference registration is $220 and includes lunches Friday and Saturday, Banquet Friday night, Saturday Breakfast and Bar-B-Que Saturday evening. Students may register for $50 and must provide a copy of their student ID card at the registration table on arrival.
Tours will be available at 8:00AM Friday with the conference starting at Noon.
We have made arrangements with the Executive Inn and Suites for lodging for the 2017 conference. The conference rate is $144.00 per night, single or double occupancy.
