California’s strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with China’s Ministry of Commerce was reached by Chinese President Xi Jinping and California Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr. The MOU expands trade and investment cooperation and links California businesses directly to China and seven of its most economically advanced regions including Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, Hebei, Shanghai, Chongqing and Inner Mongolia.
