Event Details

Breast Prosthesis Fitting Day from Noon - 5:00pm

Attend this event to ask questions and receive assistance with breast prosthesis fitting from Faith Regional volunteer and cancer survivor, Nita Totten. A bra and prosthesis are available at no cost to breast cancer survivors thanks to the generosity of Faith Regional’s Foundation HOPE Fund and its donors. Walk-ins welcome. Appointments are not necessary.

Cancer Education 5:30pm - 6:30pm:

Join our certified lymphedema therapists to learn more about lymphedema, a condition that can develop following the removal of lymph nodes. Topics will include how to prevent lymphedema, recognizing the signs and symptoms and how to treat and manage lymphedema. Prevention and early treatment are important for the long term management of lymphdema.

***Men are welcome and encouraged to attend the education inservice at 5:30pm.***
