This course teaches the breastfeeding essentials you'll need to know before your baby arrives! It is HIGHLY recommended that both parents attend this class. This course covers the following topics related to breastfeeding:

• Nutrition basics of breastfeeding
• How the breast functions
• Overcoming common problems and difficulties
• Positions and proper latch
• How to know if your baby is getting enough to eat
• Scheduling considerations
• Milk expression techniques, storage and preparation
• Self-care and resources

• Classroom is located at Clovis Community Medical Center Outpatient Care Center. Please enter through Outpatient Care, located to the right of the main entrance. Front desk attendant will direct you to the appropriate classroom.
