Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

Each year, we take time to gather as a community to celebrate some of the incredible stories of breakthrough and healing that have occurred through the services Helping Hand House has provided to our client families. This year, the theme of our annual breakfast is "Hearts and Hands." During our time together, we will introduce you to a few of our families and you will hear how their lives have changed since their time with HHH.

As we look around our community, it is clear to the casual observer the negative effects of homelessness continue to increase. The challenges of homelessness are amplified in the case of families with children. Imagine trying to find a new home while housing costs continue to increase at a brisk pace, and trying to find an extra job to pay those costs, all while trying to care for your children. An example of how we've helped this last year is provided by our former client - Nicole...

“Three days after Christmas, my 3 kids and I were forced from our home because of a foreclosure notice. We were shocked and scared. Helping Hand House put us into an emergency home and gave us the resources and supplies we needed to succeed. We are now back on our feet, in our new home, and doing well because of Helping Hand House.”

Please join us as we look forward to sharing what the future holds for our community, and how HHH will continue to be a leader in the fight against family homelessness. This year, we will serve over 120 families just like Nicole and her kids by providing housing, support services, and other resources to help our clients find not just a new house, but also their new home.

We look forward to seeing you October 24th at 7:00 AM. RSVP now to secure your seat!
