Dine with us Monday, April 3rd, to support the Institute Library, New Haven’s oldest independent lending library and one of the last remaining membership libraries in North America.
Guests will enjoy a three-course meal at a specially selected restaurant alongside a fascinating guest host. Dessert (provided by Lulu deCarrone and Eva Geertz) will be served at the Library after dinner, along with coffee and a selection of cordials. Local mandolin player Karen Hogg, a familiar face to many Library members, will provide entertainment. Once again, artist George Corsillo (Design Monsters) and letterpress printer Jeff Mueller (Dexterity Press) are creating a Book Plate, suitable for framing, as a gift to the evening’s guests, with additional prints available for purchase. The event’s featured authors will greet guests and sign books. And as always there will be a silent auction of exciting offerings.
