“The true spirit of Christmas is felt in this show,” says Paul Larson, co-organizer and cowboy music performer. “Add in the acoustics in the Homestake Opera House and these unbelievably talented performers ... and you’ve got a beautiful experience,” says Larson. “The Christmas concert pieces are soulful and fulfilling and the dance is that down-home, old-fashioned cowboy dance.”

“You leave the theater changed," says Sarah Carlson, HHOH Executive Director and co-organizer and performer, adding "The whole Black Hills experience lifts your spirits.”

This year's attendees will experience brand-new interior theater restoration on the north and south walls. Ticket purchasers are encouraged to make lunch and dinner reservations at participating restaurants in Lead and Deadwood. Wine, beer, and soda will be available for purchase.

Proceeds from the event support ongoing music programming, restoration projects, and operations at the Historic Homestake Opera House. Free parking is located behind the building, on Main Street, and lot parking within four blocks or less from the theater. The building is wheelchair accessible and assistive listening devices are also available.
