Event description

Description

CRFC’s Bill of Rights in Action Awards (BRIA) Benefit will take place on Thursday, November 9, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Standard Club in Chicago, Illinois.

Each year, the CRFC Board of Directors gives the Bill of Rights in Action Award to individuals and organizations who, because of their professional commitment and community involvement, provide exemplary models of citizenship for our nation's young people.

The Bill of Rights in Action Awards (BRIA) Benefit also serves as a platform to highlight the mission and core efforts of CRFC not only throughout the event but also through the efforts of each year's keynote speaker. This years keynote speaker will be former U.S. Attorney Zach Fardon, illustrating his efforts to cease gang violence in Chicago and the role of CRFC in contributing to that effort.

Funds raised through the Benefit support CRFC programs in schools throughout Chicago and the Metropolitan area that help foster critical thinking and responsible civic action in elementary, middle, and high school students.
