BikePGH is happy to invite you to join us for our third annual Business Member Awards Night at the Wigle Whiskey Distillery. We are so incredibly proud of BikePGH's accomplishments over the last year which were only possible because of our business members' support. We want to take this opportunity to call out the business members who went above and beyond in 2017 and thank all our business members for their involvement. BikePGH will present awards to:

  • Small Business Champion
  • Business Member of the Year
  • New Business Member of the Year
  • Bike Industry Member of the Year
  • Organization of the Year

Please join us to recognize these businesses, strengthen our network's ties, and celebrate the huge accomplishments that BikePGH achieved in 2017:

Advocacy - Making Employee Commutes More Safe, Comfortable and Convenient

  • New bike lanes installed in Oakland, Northside, Highland Park, East Liberty and Friendship creating vital linkages in our city's bike network
  • 2018 budget holds the largest amount of money yet for dedicated bike and pedestrian infrastructure
  • City of Pittsburgh Department of Mobility and Engineering is launched to focus specifically on the movement of people by bike, foot and transit, not just automobiles.

Education - Teaching Young and Old How to Bike for Transportation & Recreation

  • Launched Positive Spin at Pittsburgh Public School's Obama Academy in East Liberty to work directly with high-school aged students for the first time!
  • Printed 15,000 copies of our Biking 101 guide to be distributed at libraries all throughout Allegheny County
  • BikePGH's Education Program efforts have engaged over 2,500 people since our start in 2014!

Community - Building Spaces That Encourage Employees to Connect With Neighborhoods & Neighbors

  • OpensStreetsPGH added a new route through Uptown and the South Side with our total program attendance at nearly 90,000 participants!
  • PedalPGH broke new records with nearly 2,800 riders and over $100,000 raised in ticket sales, with 39 different businesses creating workplace teams
  • Hundreds of individual volunteers gave hundreds of hours worth over $75,000 in volunteer labor
