Welcome to the 2017 Baltimore Open
Welcome to a great lifting experience. The Baltimore Open has become one of the most popular meets on the East Coast and this year's event will not disappoint. We'll have great lifting and great fun in a local meet run under the quality of strict National standards. Once you've lifted in a Baltimore Open, you'll know what to expect at a National meet - without the stress.
Weigh Class Change for 2017! On September 25, 2016, the Internatinoal Weightlifting Federation (IWF) added new weight classes for female competitors. Female youth lifters now have the 75 kg and + 75 kg classes (+69 is eliminated) and all other female divisions have the 90 kg and +90 kg classes (+75 is eliminated for all femal divisions except the youth division). These new weight classes are in effect for the 2017 Baltimore Open and you have these options in the order form.
Special note for clubs and coaches - OSS WLC invites all participating USAW-sancioned clubs to bring and hang your club banner and set up a club information table. Be our guest to provide information to potential lifters in your area. Contact Mario Dispenza at 443.820.8293 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to participate in this way.
You'll find lots more helpful information below but if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Meet Director Mario Dispenza at email@example.com. Thank you for joining us, we look forward to seeing you in January.
With Best regards,
OSS WLC Board of Directors
