Event Details

The Atlanta Perinatal-Neonatal Education Consortium (APNEC) was developed to create a solid foundation for nurses beginning their practice as perinatal and/or neonatal nurses in the Atlanta/North Georgia region.

The APNEC Course consists of 2 sessions -Low Risk & High Risk. The program is designed to provide nurses with the theoretical knowledge needed to provide holistic, family-centered care to women, their infants and family members during the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods.

Objective: To provide practical clinical information focusing on current concepts and trends in the care and management of patients during the intrapartum and postpartum periods.

Accreditation: Grady Health System is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by Baptist Health System, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
