Thursday Evening - Emerson Alumni Hall:

6:30 – 6:45 p.m. --- Welcome and Introduction: President Kent Fuchs and Provost Joe Glover

6:45 - 7:45 p.m. --- Presentation by Dr. Kate Ratliff, Assistant Prof., Psychology

7:45 – 8:15 p.m. --- Questions and conversation with the Faculty

8:15 – 9:00 p.m. --- Reception

Friday – Emerson Alumni Hall:

8:30 – 9:15 a.m. --- Coffee and bagels

9:15 - 9:30 a.m. --- Charge to Faculty Participants Joe Glover, Provost

9:30 – 10:30 a.m. --- Charles Blow, New York Times columnist

10:30 – 10:45 a.m. --- Break

10:45 – 12:00 p.m. --- Faculty panel: Katheryn Russell-Brown, Paul Ortiz, Kate Ratliff with Angel Kwolek-Folland, Associate Provost, moderating

12:00 – 1:00 p.m. --- Box Lunch with Breakout groups to discuss morning program and possible steps for the future. Each table will choose a recorder to summarize the discussion.

1:00 – 1:45 p.m. --- Implementation of last year’s symposium recommendations, and a path forward after this year’s event, Provost Joe Glover
