Event Details

Civilizations is the theme of the 2017 Business History Conference meeting. The theme is meant to suggest broad connections between business and the way of life that characterizes particular regions or countries. The program committee consists of Susie Pak (chair), Eric Hilt, Caitlin Rosenthal, Lars Heide, Jessica Burch, and Walter Friedman (BHC president). The conference begins on Thursday March 30 with workshops and an evening plenary session, and continues all day Friday and Saturday with parallel sessions, the dissertation prize plenary, presidential address, and awards banquet. Advance registration is open until March 21; after then there will be a surcharge for on-site registration at the meeting. All sessions will take place at the Embassy Suites Denver-Downtown Convention Center, located in the bustling downtown area. Rooms (all suites) are $150/night and include a full breakfast.
