2017 Annual Industry Expo for Young Adults: Film, TV & Interactive Ent.

In collaboration with Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington Jr., WorkSource Fulton is hosting the 1st Annual “Industry Expo for Young Adults” for ages 16-24 years at AmericasMart Atlanta Convention Center on Tuesday, April 4th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The 2017, expo will focus on exposing young adults to the many diverse careers available in the growing and rapidly expanding Film, TV, and Interactive Entertainment industries emerging in Georgia. According to the Governor’s High Demand Career Initiative Report; "the film, television, and interactive entertainment sector is a robust and rapidly growing industry in Georgia". This sector is growing producing jobs for the workforce.
As part of AIEYA:
Young adults will have the opportunity to explore new careers, gain first-hand knowledge from industry experts and identify training options that prepare them for promising careers.
Businesses will expose, inspire, and connect with interested and/or unaware young adults and have the opportunity to connect with skilled training providers willing to prepare and deliver training based on the needs of their businesses.
Training providers and other Metro Atlanta workforce offices will have the opportunity to educate potential applicants about training that prepares them in practical ways for the real world of work in these industries and to develop partnerships with employers in need of training solutions.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes, participants must be 16-24 years of age.
No one under 16 years of age is allowed to attend.
There is no age restrictions for registered exhibitors.
Are there any other costs associated with this free event?
Other than parking, No.
What kind of businesses will be at the expo?
We are inviting companies small, large, new, and already established in the Film, TV and Interactive Entertainment industry to exhibit and interact with young adults, schools, and other WorkSource offices.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

What can/can't I bring to the event?
Can not bring: Weapons of any kind, food and drinks, pets, cameras, and equipment. No person under the age of 16 years old is allowed.
Only exbihitors are allowed to bring equipment, high flash photography, cameras etc.
Can bring: Notebooks, phones, pens/pencils, business cards, and an open mind.
Exhibitors should bring: all Audio and Visual equipment, laptops, and extension cords/powerstrips

Can I update my registration information?
Yes send an email to the organizer at least 7 business days in advance.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, but we prefer your Eticket to save trees.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No. The name/company must match the registration/ticket for the attendee.
What is the purpose of the event?
To expose young adults ages 16-24 to emerging careers in the Film, TV, and Interactive Entertainment industry that are in demand located in Georgia. In support of a career pathway, we will also have 50 exhibitors, 10 education/training providers, along with other WIOA workforce boards who will be sharing information.
