Join us for two webinars on agricultural safety presented by the U.S. Agricultural Safety and Health Centers and the American Farm Bureau Federation, and hosted by the University of Florida IFAS Center for Public Issues Education in Agriculture and Natural Resources. The webinars are a part of the 2017 Agricultural Safety Awareness Program Week, focusing on respect for 'safe spaces' around hazardous farm equipment and tasks. These free webinars will be 1 hour long and start at 12pm CST. *Please be aware of daylight saving time and Monday, 3/13/17, webinar will be in CDT.
1. March 10 @ 12pm CST- "When machines meet the road: farm equipment crashes on public highways" presented by Marizen Ramirez, MPH, PhD and Karissa Harland, MPH, PhD
2. March 13 @ 12pm CDT- "Why we need to 'Be Calm' around animals: the importance of reminding our staff to think and to slow down" presented by Jeff Bender, DVM, MS DACVPM
