This year’s conference program focuses on you and how you can boldy make a difference for your business in the coming year. Discussions will include impactful business training, inspiring keynote speakers with bold business lessons, news on future ADOT projects, innovative networking opportunities to help you standout, unique technology demos, access to resources and programs plus more. You will be able to meet and talk with other small business owners, prime contractors and consultants, community partners and government buying agency staff.

Wednesday, November 8:

Mingle with people you will see the next day and celebrate award winners you nominated as well as this year’s Business Development Program graduates. Light appetizers will be provided.

Keynote -

  • Imagine two DBE firms teaming together to form a joint venture and win a large project. That is exactly what happened when KKCS and Triunity did in earlier this year in California. Kal Krishnan Consulting Services, Inc. and Triunity Engineering and Management will share their story of how they and made a BOLD move to win a $90.8 million project –the largest contract ever awarded by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority to small, minority owned business!

  • One of the world’s largest Primes talks about the importance of supporting the DBE and Small Business community! Judy Johnson of CH2M will share information about her firm’s perspective on working with and supporting DBEs. CH2M, a $5B firm, has been honored by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the most ethical companies for nine years in a row for making a difference. Judy serves as a Mentor to the DBE keynote speakers and they are collaborating on the project. ADOT Deputy Director for Transportation and State Engineer shares perspective and outlook.
  • Dallas Hammit, ADOT, will share a bit of ADOT history and provide a leadership outlook for the transportation industry in Arizona.
