What is ABCs of Calculus all about?
ABCs of Calculus Summer Camp is five days of engaging and interactive learning designed to provide students with a strog calculus foundation and superior AP exam preparation. This summer prep course covers all the key topics the student will learn during their school year. Although intensive, it is also an opportunity for students to have some fun with friends over the summer.
What will a typical day look like at ABCs of Calculus?
ABCs of Calculus is held on Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM-12:30 PM. We strive to make math fun for students and work at a pace that each student can maintain. Two 15-minute breaks are taken throughout the day with snacks provided. Each day, students have the opportunity to participate in four engaging learning styles:
Group Work (2-3 students per group)
Every lesson builds on the next, with a short, 15-20 minute daily homework assignment given to assess the previous day’s learning.
Why should I enroll in ABC’s of Calculus?
Calculus is a very difficult course and is a huge step up from Pre-calculus. This course will also adequately equip your child with the skills necessary to be successful on the AP Calculus exam by focusing on conceptual learning and training the student to apply those concepts to new contexts. This intensive course provides the student the advantage of getting a head start by learning calculus in a safe, non-threatening and low stress environment. Our instructors have proven strategies for success and make learning math fun!
