American Airlines Employee Business Resource Group African American Diversity Network welcomes employees and guests to attend our Annual Professional Development Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina on Friday, September 29th and Saturday, September 30th, 2017.

The theme of the conference is “Executive Presence.”
Executive Presence is the blending of temperament, competencies, and skills that, when combined, send all the right signals. Executive presence focuses on gravitas, appearance, behavior, and communication. The conference will focus on the key elements to start your journey to executive presence.

  • Elise Eberwein – Executive Vice President, People & Communications (American Airlines)

  • Charles Schubert, VP Operations & Crew (American Airlines)

  • Cedric Rockamore, VP Hub Operations DFW (American Airlines)

  • Marine Staff Sergeant Eric Alva was the first Marine seriously injured in the Iraq War. On March 21, 2003, he was in charge of 11 Marines in a supply unit when he stepped on a landmine and lost his right leg. He began working as a spokesman for the Human Rights Campaign in 2006.

  • Dr. Carladenise Edwards, Chief Administrative Officer Population Health at Providence Health & Services, has worked with President’s Bush and Obama, as well with Governor Schwarzenegger. She sits on the Board of Medicine at Morehouse College.

  • VonGretchen Nelson, President & CEO at PCC Global Institute, is a Creative Thought Leader and Talent Management Innovator.

  • Isaiah Reese, Digital Global Marketing, is an accomplished Global leader with experience in Marketing Technology, Consumer Package Goods Director with Food & Beverage, Entertainment, Licensed Product, Pet Food, Healthcare industries. He has proven his success at Fortune 500 companies, Microsoft Company, Coca-Cola Company, M&M Mars, and PepsiCo.

  • Cary L. Hall Jr. is a Senior Vice President-Wealth Management & Portfolio Manager at UBS Financial.
