Season tickets (a 33% discount for general admission and 50% off for students and seniors) to three concerts by E4TT (Nanette McGuinness, soprano and Dale Tsang, piano, with season guest cellist Anne Lerner-Wright)

Concert #1: 56x54: ...the beat goes on

U.S. premiere of David Garner’s “Picasso Ricercar” (part of E4TT’s The “Guernica” Project tour in Fall 2017), West Coast premieres of works by Call for Scores composers Patrick Castillo, Morgan Greenwood, William Price and Andrew List, and works by Call for Scores composers Jessica Rudman, William Price and Arthur Gottschalk (beat). Plus "Promptu" by Bay Area favorite, Elinor Armer!

Concert #2 56x54+Gorecki: strings & things...where we add some strings and play some interesting things

The world premiere of “The Road Not Taken” by Call for Scores Chinese composer Weiwei Miao, West Coast premieres by Call for Scores composers Julianna Hall and Mike McFerron and additional Call for Scores works by Leah Kennedy and Joelle Wallach, along with Genesis i: Elementi by Henryk Gorécki, Rorum's Run by David Garner and Passion Revisited by Aleksandra Vrebalov. Composers Weiwei Miao and David Garner will speak at the performance.

With guest violinist Dawn Harms and guest violist Julie Michael

Concert #3: Special Feature: a recital of solo piano music by composers from the Bay Area and beyond, performed by E4TT pianist extraordinaire, Dale Tsang

The U.S. premiere of Spanish composer Mercedes Zavala's "Haikus" (from the "Guernica" Project), along with works by Elinor Armer,, Alden Jenks, Martyna Kosecka, William Price, and David Garner.

With guest English hornist Laura Reynolds and guest violinist Dawn Harms

4 world premieres of new commissioned works:

  • “Die Eichne Tuer” by E4TT composer David Garner, for soprano, English horn, violin, cello and piano, to 5 poems by Celan;

  • “Nachtlang” for soprano, cello, and piano by Jared Redmond, to 2 poems by Celan;

  • “A Song for the End of the World,” for soprano, cello, and piano by Stephen Eddins to poetry by Celan contemporary Czeslaw Milosz;

  • “Spell No. 8,” for solo piano, inspired by the life and works of Celan, by Aleksandra Vrebalov

  • PLUS “Memoire de l’ombre” for cello by Aleksandra Kaca from E4TT's Call for Scores (56x54)
