ITAG Young Scholars' Chaperone
Chaperones are required to supervise their students throughout the day. Chaperones are welcome to attend sessions with their students however please keep in mind that seating is limited and we want an opportunity for students to have the chance to attend. If you do plan to sit in on a session please be sure to select ONE 10:30 and/or ONE 1:15 session. You are also welcome to explore the campus on your own while keeping an eye on your students.

Students: after you select this purchase item be sure to also select ONE 10:30 session and ONE 1:15 session. Sessions are set at classroom capacity so if a session is sold out you will need to select from another open option. You will receive email confirmation showing your attendance for the event and the AM sessions you have chosen. Bring your confirmation with you as that is your schedule for the day. There will be volunteers on campus to help you find your way to the classrooms. 10:30-11:15am – Session #1: Breakout Sessions, designated rooms

ENROLLMENT WILL BE LIMITED TO THE FIRST 350 PARTICIPANTS.

To pay by check simply select that option. A receipt will be sent to you automatically by email. Simply print that receipt and mail it in with your check. To pay by invoice you should also select to pay by check. A receipt will be sent to you automatically by email. Simply provide that receipt to your business office. They should consider the receipt as the invoice for matching with the PO. Each person attending will need to complete their own individual registration. Either register as a chaperone or a student but do not combine a chaperone with a student on the same registration. Iowa Talented and Gifted Association

The Iowa Talented and Gifted Association recognizes, supports, and respects the unique and diverse needs of talented and gifted learners through advocacy, education, and networking.

ITAG promotes advocacy at the national, state and local levels, pre-service and in-service training in gifted education, and parent/community awareness, education and involvement. ITAG is comprised of parents, educators, other professionals, and community leaders who share an interest in the growth and development of gifted and talented individuals in Iowa.

ITAG is a 501(c)3 organization which was organized more than 40 years ago with a vision that gifted and talented children in the State of Iowa should receive an education commensurate with their abilities and needs.  ITAG is an affiliate of the National Association for Gifted Children.
