West Virginia is participating in NCSAM (National Cyber Security Awareness Month), in an effort to do our part to make the Internet safer for everyone, by hosting a free cyber security event on October 25, 2016 @ the Charleston Civic Center from 9AM-1PM. (Doors open at 8:30AM) This event is open for all public sector officials and employees, as well as the general public. The agenda will focus on dynamic presentations, delivered by world-class experts in the areas of cyber threats, effective practices to safeguard computer information, with an emphasis on individual responsibility, accountability, risk management, and privacy issues. - The MS-ISAC is the focal point for cyber threat prevention, protection, response and recovery for the nation's state, local, tribal and territorial (SLTT) governments. The MS-ISAC 24x7 cybersecurity operations center provides real-time network monitoring, early cyber threat warnings and advisories, vulnerability identification, and mitigation and incident response.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is paid parking available at the Charleston Civic Center ($3.00), and across the street at the Charleston Town Center Mall ($1.75).

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It makes check-in faster if you have the ticket in hand or on your phone, but it is not required.
